And The Answer Is...........

We are but dust the Bible says, and because of our short sightedness we are always looking for an answer we can see.  Look at the children of Israel for example.  When Moses went up to speak to God on Mount Sinai because he was there so long the children of Israel thought he was dead, and therefore turned from their faith in the Lord, and fashioned for themself a god to go before them (a golden calf).

We know how that part of history ends, more than 3000 were destroyed.  Salomon says it so well “There is nothing new under the sun” Ecclesiastes 1:9.

We as Americans are acting like the children of Israel, instead of fashioning for ourselves a golden calf to worship; we worship the “GOVERNMENT”.   Is government really our provider and the answer to all our ills? We must think so, that’s why we voted for an ever larger government, with more and more power.

What we don’t realize is it is to our destruction of our own freedom, and the enslavement of our future, but I guess to us the answer we are looking for is our security.

Lord I pray for my fellow American’s that they see what they are doing to themselves; they are running head long to destruction and enslavement to an ever powerful government.  Let us see that the answer is You.  You are our security and freedom in Jesus name Amen

Election Reflection

Since the election I had time to think, and have come to this conclusion: Do we as Christians realize what the people of America voted for. Have we really said with our vote “We choose no moral direction we want a secular American where the government is responsible to take care of all of my needs.” Has the mainstream media brainwashed us to believe that our rights and freedoms come from government and not from God.

Do we really want a secular American where sin is no longer sin, and wrong is no longer wrong? Where there is no honor virtue or righteousness, hard work and achievement is frowned upon and a husband a wife committed to each other is a thing of the past.

We want others to pay for our immorality by supplying us with free contraception, and abortion on demand.  And we choose gay marriage, and we support the gay life style as legitimate and honorable, and without the judgment of God.

God’s people and His Word are holding back this great new world of anything goes.  If the Christians can only be silenced, and marginalized then this brave new America can finally be set free from all this moral bondage and the secularist can free at last.

Lord what have we chosen for ourselves?  May we turn to you and run back as fast as we can into your arms of love and forgiveness. Only you can heal our land.  Help we pray in Jesus name Amen.

Thanksgiving

When I read the Scripture in Matthew 24:12; “Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold” (NAS).

I see lawlessness every day, in every aspect of life. No longer do people take responsible for their behavior, poor choices, or bad decisions.  It’s always somebody else’s fault. Someone else will pay for my failure. 

I am thankful for all the usual things, my family, the Lord’s grace and mercy. But I am most thankful for “TIME”.

Time….. God has given us to keep praying for our children and our loved ones who are not yet saved.

Time…..For God to WOOO my children and grandchildren, and bring them close to Him so they will fall passionately in love with the Kingdom of God and His Word.

Time…..For my children to turn their backs on this world, and turn to the world everlasting where righteousness dwells.

Time…..For my children to hone their skills and talent to make their dreams come true. Not wasting valuable time paying for poor choices and bad decisions.

Time…..To have the Lord work out His perfect will in my life, and my family’s life.

It is stated so clearly in 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow about  His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient towards you not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” (NAS)

Nothing we build on this earth will matter if our names our not written in the Lambs Book of Life.  So I say to you dear friends and family, “TIME” IS A GREAT GIFT TO BE THANKFUL FOR, but remember our ”TIME” will soon be up.

Lord you are gracious and slow to anger, but soon you will call us to account.  May we be found in you.  In Jesus name Amen.

What Would It Be Like If?

What would it be like if we could go back to the beginning, and be the country our founders created?

What would it be like if we could go back to the time before our politicians believed they had unlimited power, to vote to take away the hard work and effort from one sector of the people, and give it another, in the form of re-distribution?

What would it be like if our main stream media was truly impartial, did not have a left leaning agenda, and was not Anti-God?  (The kick is the main stream media believes they are impartial.)

What would it be like if our main stream was a hard on Barrock Hussan Obama, as they were on George W Bush?  (The kick is the main stream media does believe they are equally as hard on Obama, as they were on Bush.)

What if we could go back to the time before we had all this pork barrel spending? And waste, fraud, and abuse of the people’s hard earned money?

What if? What if? What if?

I could go on and on about the what if’s.  But the truth is the people of this country are in charge and it is up to us to make these “What if’s” come to pass.  With the blessing of the Lord upon us nothing will be impossible for us.

Lord we come before you today and ask for you to bring the “What If’s” to pass.  If we are willing to repent from all our wasteful ways Lord you will bless us.  Give us leaders who are real, and genuine. Who will allow their Yes, to be yes and their No, to be no.  In Jesus name Amen.

Can God Bless a Country..........

Can God bless a country whose leaders require abortion on demand? Can God bless a country who leaders demand God to be taken out of the public square and twist the meaning of “Separation of Church and State”? Can God bless a country that abandons a moral foundation and calls it “Free Speech” or “Art” in the form of internet pornography? Can God bless a country that embraces same sex marriage, when the Bible speaks against it? Can God bless a country where if you speak against Homosexuality, it is considered hate speech? Can God bless America whose leadership takes the hard work, and effort of their citizens (in the form of overreaching taxes), to fund an immoral beaurocracy?

     It is very clear by the Word of God, the Lord cannot look upon sin, and bless it as if it were righteousness. Isaiah 5:20; Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

     Even if jobs return and the stock market sky rockets, God could not bless the sin of America. If we turn away from sin and embrace righteousness, and allow God to have His proper place in America, He will bless this country above all that we could ask or think.

     Lord woe to those who call evil good and turn their back on You. Who deny Your righteousness, and holiness. Lord heal us from the inside, from the leaders to the citizens. Bring back morality to our country and heal our land, in Jesus name Amen.

America's Morality

     You cannot turn on the TV, go to the movies, read a magazine, or even go to a public high school, without being bombarded with sexual immorality.  Sexual immorality has become America’s morality.

     We have allowed Hollywood to set our moral standards for our home, and our country.  The problem is they have no moral compass because they are Anti-God in all their beliefs.  How do I know this? Because of what they spew.   The God fearing in Hollywood are in the closet so to speak, fearful they will not have work if they allow their beliefs to be made known.

     How have we gotten to this point?  I believe we got there by allowing ourselves to be demonized, marginalized, and silenced by Hollywood, and the mainstream media.  Saturday Night Live, and characters like the “Church Lady”, “Flanders”, from The Simpsons, and others make a mockery out of Christianity.   We have allowed this by our kind and gentle nature. 

     We Christians are not a protected class like Muslims.  It is perfectly fine to make fun of Christians, call them names, belittle them, and impugn them.

     I believe that the closer we get to the coming of the Lord the worst it will become.  I believe eventually Christianity will be outlawed in America.  Hate crimes legislation is the first step to silence the Christian Community, and Pastors who preach the Bible. 

     The Bible is very specific on its view of Homosexuality, and that will be the basis on which Christianity will be outlawed, under the guides of hate speech.

     Lord we have allowed the Gospel to be impugned, and ridiculed.  Lord forgive us for not being bold and standing up for righteousness.  Lord you are coming soon and the days are growing more evil.  We need You now more than ever. In Jesus name Amen.

Destroying American From the Inside

     I was watching Hannity’s America on Tuesday night November 10, 2009,when I caught the “Man on the Street” segment.  It made my blood boil.  They asked the question “Who is Joe Biden?” too the folks in Hollywood California.

     Only 34% of the people they asked in Hollywood knew who Joe Biden was, but they all knew who the husband of Angelina Jolie was.  To make it worse there was a young lady who touted how she really didn’t like America.  She said she was moving to England, but she didn’t know who the Prime Minister was.

     What is happening to our citizens?  What is happening to our children?  What are we doing to ourselves?  Why are we allowing ourselves to be destroyed by the inside?  Other than sex education, values clarification, tolerance, revisionist history, and global warming, what are we teaching our children.  Our children have no love or allegiance to this country.  They have no knowledge of how this country was founded and they are taught, we are the cause of all the evil in this world.

     How did we allow ourselves to get to this point?  I know exactly how!  We through God out and brought “Secular Humanism” in.  We forgot the One who created us, and replaced the Word of God with the DaVinci Code, the Ten Commandments with self esteem, and political correctness.  We have allowed the main stream media, and Hollywood to set our moral values.

     Lord we have gone so far from You, we have thrown out your Word, and turned bitterly against You.  Allow us to see clearly what we have done to us and our children.  Bring us back, forgive us for our sins, and heal this land.  And to those that hate this country, Lord give them the provision to leave and start their life elsewhere, in Jesus name Amen.
